Christmas Festivities at Mandaluyong City Hall

Yesterday night, we went to Mandaluyong City Hall with the intention of finding some good items in different "tiangge" stalls set up around the Maysilo Circle. We were surprised to find out that aside from foods, toys, accessories, and clothes, the whole City Hall and surrounding structures are all covered with beautiful Christmas lights of all kinds. Adding to Christmas "feels" of the Christmas lights is the loud sound system playing Filipino Christmas Music.

The lights, the sounds, and the laughter in the crowd brought so much memories in our childhood days. Nostalgic, indeed!

Going back to our original intention, the "tiangge" did not disappoint us. We found good items at an affordable prices:
  • Toys are ranging from Php. 10.00 to 250.00.
  • Ladies Wear are ranging from Php. 50.00 to 350.00.
  • Men's wear are ranging from Php. 50.00 to 400.00
  • Watches are ranging from Php. 75.00 to 300.00
  • Ladies Accessories are ranging from Php. 10.00 to 150.00.
  • Class-A bags are ranging from Php. 200.00 to 500.00.

Food stalls were also available which includes different street foods such as barbecue, bibingka, puto bumbong, burgers, shawarma, quail eggs, fancy drinks, etc.

The stalls are open until midnight and, I think, will extend to a much later hour as Christmas is drawing near.
