Singapore's Gardens by the Bay

There is no doubt that Singapore is one of the countries in Southeast Asia where nature and progress go hand-in-hand. This is much evident when we visited Sinagpore's Gardens by the Bay. Here, you can see two big domes which are home to different and beautiful plant species of the planet.

The first dome is called "CLOUD FOREST." It is a botanical garden enclosed in a modern day greenhouse. A man-made waterfalls will greet you upon entry. It provides a cooling effect inside the dome and gives all visitors a "feel" of what it is like inside a rain forest.

The second dome is called the "FLOWER DOME." Here, you can see a wide variety of exotic flowers found all over the world. There were different species of tulips, orchids and even from the family of cacti. The flower dome is picture perfect for families, friends and couples who would like to have a nice background for photographs. The place, though, is not for people with high allergic reactions to pollen grains.

Aside from the domes, you can also enjoy the sceneries and some activities in the area such as the children's garden which offers various interactive and water play; and also, the supertrees which are magnificently elegant at night adorned with colorful lights and a very good musical score.

We thank the LORD for giving us the opportunity to visit this place, a proof that man need not to be destructive in order to attain economic progress.
