For most soon-to-be wedded couples, "pre-nuptial" photos are now a MUST OR MANDATORY. Many will even spend a considerable amount of money just to make this photo session unique and elaborate. The practice is slowly becoming a vital part of every filipino wedding, and this could probably be a reflection of the Filipino psyche of sentimentality. Nevertheless, wedding days are once-in-a-lifetime event for every couples, and spending money to make all relevant events memorable are just reasonable and worth it.
Here are some suggested places where couples can have a real good pre-nuptial photos:
1. LA MESA ECO PARK - Located at the heart of Quezon City. The Eco Park is a small portion of the big La Mesa Watershed. This place is very beautiful, picturesque and romantic. There is a minimal entrance fee (and additional energy fee) for those who would like to have photo shoot in the vicinity.
2. BONIFACIO GLOBAL CITY - The Bonifacio Global City is a rising financial / business hub in the heart of Metro Manila. The fusion of modernity and ecology provides a refreshing backdrop for every pre-nuptial photo shoot.
Since BGC is a private property, you need to pay a certain fee to conduct your photo shoot in the area. If we are not mistaken, the fee is around 2000 to 3000 pesos.
3. CHINA TOWN IN BINONDO, MANILA - The streets of the Old China Town in Binondo is chaotic, yet beautiful. The historical structures around and the typical street scene of the olden times, when combined, creates an atmosphere of candid drama and romance.
There is no need to pay any entrance fee, because the streets of Binondo are for everybody's use. All you need to have is confidence and focus, because a lot of people will be watching you in the course of the photo shoot.
4. EL NIDO, PALAWAN - Outside Metro Manila, El Nido is one of the prime destination, not just of honeymooners, but tourists of all sorts. If you have the money to pay and you want a "virgin island" themed pre-nuptial photos, then El Nido is the place for you.
The torquiose water, luscious green island vegation, the world-famous rock formations and lagoons would make a one-of-a-kind pre-nuptial photo.
5. CAMP JOHN HAY, BAGUIO CITY - What makes this place beautiful and fit for a pre-nuptial destination is the vertically parallel arrangement of pine trees which are very abundant in the place. Not sure if there are fees when doing pre-nup here, but if ever there is, we are sure that it will not cost that much.
6. PICO DE LORO - Located in the town of Nasugbu in Batangas, Pico de Loro is a one-stop destination for pre-nuptial photo shoots. They have the Hamilo Coast for couples who would like to have a "beach" themed photo. They also have a man-made lake, big trees, flowering plants, hanging bridge, etc., creating a good photo background for the couples.
7. CAGSAWA RUINS IN ALBAY PROVINCE - The Cagsawa Ruins is one of the best spots where one can have a good view of the Mayon Volcano. Choosing this as a place for your pre-nuptial photo would definitely produce a majestic photo, majestic as the Mayon Volcano in the background.
8. WHITE SAND BEACH, BORACAY ISLAND - The fine sands, blue water and sail boats on the background creates a "luxurious" and romantic effect in this pre-nuptial photo shoot. Depending on the creativity of your photographers, choosing boracay as your pre-nuptial destination will definitely produce a masterpiece.
