We stayed in Misibis Bay for 3 nights and 4 days, yet it seems too short to completely explore the beauty and wonders of the place. We were, somehow, regretful that we did not pursue our plan of staying there for 5 days. But, nevertheless, we still enjoyed the whole duration of our stay; and much more, and I think the most important of all, we created fond memories to treasure for the rest of our lives.
Joseph B. Wirthlin got it perfectly when he said, "Some memories are unforgettable, remaining ever vivid and heartwarming!"
DAY 1: ARRIVAL
Our flight from Manila landed the Legazpi City Airport at around 10:30 AM. At the airport, we were greeted by an enchanting dance number courtesy of the Legazpi City Government. We boarded the Misibis Bay Service Bus at around 11:00 AM to start the City Tour, which is included in our package. We made stops on the following tourist destinations in Legazpi City; and some towns in Albay:
After the City Tour, we headed for Misibis Bay which is a 1-hour drive from the Legazpi City proper. Along the way, to lighten up our tired mood, our tour guide was throwing jokes and stories related to Albay. Aside from that, we were also given with different souvenirs and complementary items. There were bracelets, cookies-in-a-cookie-jar, bottled water; and even, FACIAL SPRAY.
We arrived in Misibis Bay at around 03:00 PM, which is 30 minutes passed the lunch buffet. Good thing, the resort was mindful of our arrival and was able to spare us some food from the buffet. After eating, we went straight to our room and took a rest from the day's tiring activity.
DAY 2: WATER SPORT ACTIVITIES (Jet Ski, Kayak, Wind Surfing and Stand-up Paddle) and CRUISING THE ALBAY GULF
Our Day 2 in Misibis (Morning) were fully-loaded with water sport activities. And among all the available activities, it was driving the Jet Ski and trying the Wind Surfing that excite our adrenalin the most. Why? It was our first time to experience those two.
In the afternoon, we were able to have a cruise in the Albay Gulf and the adjoining Sula Channel.
DAY 3: SCUBA DIVING
The highlight of our Day 3 in Misibis was SCUBA DIVING. It was also our first time to experience this activity, and you can read our chronicle by clicking here.
DAY 4: ECO-ENERGY PARK TOUR
On our 4th and last day, we went to the Eco-energy Park before leaving for Legazpi Airport to take our 11:oo AM flight going back Manila. Since we were running out of time, we were not able to see and experience all the offerings in the Eco-energy Park. Instead, we only had the chance to see two of the many landmarks therein; the STELLA MARIS CHAPEL and the AMPHITHEATER, both overlooking the Albay Gulf.
