The Delicious Korean Bing Su of Cafe Seol Hwa

Summer has officially ended as of this blog post, but the craze over Korean Bing Su will continue until infinity.  It is not surprising that Filipinos are going "gaga" over this Korean dessert because of its resemblance to our very own HALO-HALO and CON YELOS, such as Mais con yelo, Saging con yelo, etc.  The only MAJOR difference, we think, is the price range. Korean Bing Su ranges from 150 to 300 pesos depending on the flavor. Whereas the common halo-halo and con yelos in the neighborhood only ranges from 15 to 50 pesos.

Korean Bing Su, by the way, is composed of shaved ice-milk, red beans and toppings of your choice.  In Cafe Seol Hwa, one of the best-seller is the Mango Cheese Flavor.  Cafe Seol Hwa has several branches in Metro Manila, but the only branch known to us is the one located at Century Mall in Makati City.
