Aside from the Mangrove Paddle Boat Tour, we also tried the ZIPLINE adventure in Sabang. Going there will require some calory-burning walk, because of the 30-minute trek up a hill where the starting point is located. The adventure costs around Php. 500 to 550 (forgot the exact amount). They offered two zipline positions, namely: sitting and "superman." We tried the sitting position because it is much cheaper compared to the other one. After all, one can still have a 360° view of the BLUE and GREEN environment regardless of the position. BLUE for the ocean and sky; and GREEN for the island vegetation.
RLF: While experiencing the zipline, I realized the value of looking at things in a holistic point view. In the words of Josemaria Escriva, considering the other side of the coin is an "elementary rule of prudence." This zipline experience hit my senses and reconnected me back to that basic virtous rule. True beauty comes, not just by looking at the bigger picture, but by looking at the WHOLE PICTURE.
XLF: As for me, I realized that it is important to know who we are anchoring our security with. We must ensure that we are rightly anchored to GOD, so that no matter how "carefree" are movements are, we are assured that a STRONG and UNFAILING GOD is holding us.
We did not regret trying this, because the money spent is worth the beautiful scenery and experience which gladdens our hearts.
