It's our second travel to La Union this year and, this time, we were blessed to stay in the famous Thunderbird Resort located at Poro Point in San Fernando City. We spent two nights in their "fancy" two-bedroom villas.
Here are some of our reviews for the two-bedroom villa:
- The villa is very spacious. It can decently accommodate 10 to 15 persons.
- It has 2 big restrooms in each bed rooms equipped with a bathtub, shower, blower and beautiful mirrors. It also has 1 restroom in the living room area, but with no shower.
- The villas are also Eco-friendly as evidently shown by its glass windows and glass lining of the roof. Hence, during daytime, there is no need to open up the bulb for light.
- The beds, bed sheets and pillows are all clean with pleasant smell.
- The hotel staff are all courteous and helpful.
- Some of the villas are far from the pool and beach areas. You would need to call the reception to pick you up with their free shuttle service.
- The resort itself is far from the other tourist spots in San Fernando City and other nearby places.
- We would recommend Thunderbird resort for married couples and families who are looking for a quiet place to bond.
