Yesterday morning, we went to Mega Mall Clinic for a supposed-to-be quick visit to an OB GYNE. Unfortunately, OB was late and we were number 4 in the queue. It was also nearing lunch time, and so we just decided to stroll around first to look for a food hub that can satisfy our hungry stomach. We chanced upon Sunnies Cafe owned, according to wife, by actress Georgina Wilson.
We ordered two of their best-sellers, THE BUTCHER'S STEAK and THE CHICKEN & PANCAKE. The former is a main course and served with brown rice, potato and string beans. We preferred a well-done steak, but the crew mistakenly served us with a medium rare. Well, that's just fine. We just took it as an opportunity for us to taste a steak with "visible blood." A medium rare steak is OK, but we will not try it again because of the after taste. The latter, on the other hand, is part of their breakfast menu and is served with egg and, obviously, a pancake. The chicken has a crispy breading and a rightful amount of sweetness in it.
We also tried their passion fruit iced tea and iced latte. Both are delicious, but iced latte, according to wife, stands out the most.
